Hello guys!

I try to instal My Advertisements plugin, and after installation when after install & Activate My Advertisements (2.3.3)
This plugin adds a powerful advertisements manager to your forum.

I receive this error:

With an error of this type, you'll need to either get support from the plugin author, or look at the error logs on your server. You haven't provided any details like MyBB version, PHP version, and any other plugins used.

First place to look is for a file named error.log in the forum root folder, assuming you are using default settings in AdminCP / Configuration / Server and Optimization Options.

[edit:] Disregard, this is only true for PHP errors. MySQL errors are either enumerated or not, depending on your server configuration, resulting in what you saw.

This is the error I got upon activation.
Plugin was last maintained in 2019. I'm running MyBB 1.8.26, with PHP 7.4. Other plugins not likely to interfere with this one.

The plugin installation wants to create four settings except the 'sid' field in my database is Not Null, Autoincrement. When it is this way, adding a Null 'sid' in the insert query invokes the error.

There are 4 settings created during installation. In the file myadvertisements.php, you need to delete 4 lines at 85, 96, 107, 118 which read

"sid" => NULL,

Then try to install and activate again.

You may notice multiple instances of MyAdvertisement setting groups, only the last one actually has settings. The group was created successfully, but creating the settings in the group failed. So you will want to delete the extra empty setting groups.

Click on Modify Settings tab, scroll down to the bottom, click on options button for empty settings group, then choose delete settings group.

I solved this problem, but when i want insert image in Advertisement

My suggestion didn't make a change here.
Your graphic inserts itself properly here, so it is something else.

Use your browser tools to see what resource is actually being blocked.

If you provide a URL, someone else can check as well.

My Advertisements (2.3.3)

I have the same problem when adding code to My Advertisements. What I do is turn off Mod Security in the Cpanel, then add the code to My Advertisements, then turn the Mod Security back on.
