So what is it saying is going to a 404 page? If you're displaying ads on your site, the URLs on your forum are irrelevant. I'm not really following what the issue you're actually having is.

I'm not really following what the issue you're actually having is. since i installed the module i got an error on adsense saying "There was an error in the ad indexing engine" something like that. and the Action button leaves to a blank page. so i thought it was the URL redirect thing, but fter sending the correct sitemap its still the same.
But what URL is the action button going to? Is it a page on your site? I get no results on Google for that error message whatsoever. Can you screenshot it? It doesn't sounds like this is even anything to do with your forum.

Because all your links in google now end with a 404, this because you have installed the SEO and therefore all the page links have changed you need to apply redirect 301. So all your links how they are in google redirect to the new page URL. You can do this through .htaccess or a mybb plugin, search Google for "redirect 301 mybb". As long as you don't change this it can take some time before your revenue is stable again, in some cases even months. Good luck and let us know if you succeeded.

Good luck and let us know if you succeeded. damn basically i started from the scratch but the issue is google indexing old pages that dont exist anymore. So i guess Google will updte that eventually? Cause Google Search Console and Adsense only delivery outdated links. I think it takes some time 
If you can see via google or elsewhere where the link goes, then I recommend you still add a redirect rule in the .htaccess file. Perhaps the following URL (https://wpscholar.com/blog/simple-redire...-htaccess/) can help you. Here you can see exactly how to do that. You will rank much faster again. It's also not good if the visitor from Google ends up on a 404 page. I hope this is of use to you!

And should i do that every time? |
