[How To?] How to migrate forum from subfolder to a subdomain?

Hi, 

I can't find any definitive instructions on how to migrate a forum from a subfolder to a subdomain.
So the forum is at mysite.com/forum and I want to move it to forum.mysite.com

I can create the subdomain DNS record and set the A record accordingly.

I'm looking for a list of all the files and database tables that need to be updated with the new url. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you haven't done anything yet:

• MyBB part: go to AdminCP > Configuration > Board Settings > Site Details:
  • Change Board URL to the new URL with your subdomain https://forum.mysite.com.
    
  • Change Cookie Path to /, if the new URL to your forum doesn't have a subfolder.
    
  • Change Cookie Domain to forum.mysite.com if you plan to install multiple MyBB forums under the same root domain, no matter they will use the root domain or any subdomains.
    
  • Click Save Settings.
    
• Your hosting part:
  • Point the subdomain correctly to the location that you're desired.
    
  • Move (or not) your installed MyBB folder (and database if they're not on the same machine) to the subdomain point to.
