[How To?] Move domains

Hey all, I'd like to know how to move domains?  currently I got a cf domain and I wish to move it to something else

I won't be changing it anytime soon but once I get the new domain I'll be needing this help.

I'm asking now as I tried looking at old threads and they weren't really understandable for me so I thought i'd ask now

The only things you'll need to change within MyBB is the Board URL and Cookie Domain. The rest of the setup would be done in your hosting control panel, to set the domain up to point to your files.

I'd only take issue with DNS propagation.  Unless you have some control over TTL (Time to Live) settings on your DNS service, and cached DNS records - I'd plan for 2-3 days.  Anything quicker is a bonus.
