How do I make a specific thread not bump with new posts?

Does anybody know how to do this?...
I want specific threads to not bump when there are new posts within that thread... Is there an option for this within MyBB? Or an Add-on? thank you.
It’s very unlikely this will be possible to achieve, it won’t be easy to prevent the code running to rebuild the last post data.
