Hi there,
in a bilingual or multilingual forum you have to define the source language, here German. For registered/logged in users who set the language "English" in the user CP, the forum will then be displayed in English (apart from the German topics and posts). Works perfectly.
The default setting for guests is German. However, the target group of the forum are German and English users.
If a guest (one does not know which country he comes from) now wants to register, the default language setting is not exactly effective, since each guest reads the user agreement and data protection declaration in his language [/](if offered )[/i] should also be able to read.
How could/can the guests be given the opportunity to switch the language between German and English? Make the "Board Language" button available for guests?
Thanks ahead for tips and hints.
