Users don't receive email validation

Hi guy's

My board is now online but users cannot register since they don't receive the validation email and they have check in their spam folder.

Are you using PHP mail? Try this test: https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/faq/mail/

If you're sending from a new domain, it can take a while for email services to trust your domain. However the above test will determine if PHP mail is working at all.

Hi Matt and thank for replying, i think it's smtp but not a 100% sure but if this can help i am using zoho paid account and i did the test for the email and i got a few errors i don't understand but mail function properly if i send mail from other accounts.

EDIT: After verifying Zoho mail use smtp.

After i verify my boar configuration is set to php in email settings so do i have to change it to smtp since Zoho mail is using smtp?
