You don't need to give up, you just need to enter correct SMTP credentials. Contact Sendinblue's support if you're unsure of what they need to be.

i think its the host too. When the pms showed up yesterday and we did more tweeking it stopped working at that part.

The emails were being sent as expected with my test SMTP credentials, that's the only thing that's changed. If it was the webhost it wouldn't have worked with my credentials either.

I didn't put https:// in with mine, it depends what they have provided you with. It probably won't need http:// in it.

I don't know what you're thinking I can tweak - I have no idea what the hostname is supposed to be. You will need to ask Sendinblue and check with them you're using the right credentials, as I've said.
