Something fishy is happening....

Hello,

I am developing new site and everything is going smooth until I am now receiving few bugs...

1. When I am on the admin account my username color works fine, but some others dont work fine.

2. When I post a thread my postbit background (no plugin used, i used profile fields) works fine but then when someone replies to the thread it disappears.

I am not new to MyBB, this is why this is so annoying I just can't seem to find the problem, I dont know if its something so simple or if its more complex. 

I have disabled all plugins, I have ran tests on my coding to check for closed tags, but nothing.

I think your theme is not available for all users.you have to apply it for all user's go to themes then apply "force on all user"

It already is available for all users groups and forced on user groups.

The first issue looks like something specific to the shoutbox, there’s nothing in core MyBB to only show user group styling to certain groups.

For the second one, without seeing it it’s impossible to tell as it’s a customisation. How have you debugged it so far? Is the HTML you’ve added being included in the page? Is the image URL there? There must be something different in the HTML between the two page loads so you’ll need to find what the difference is and go from there.

It is nothing to do with the shoutbox, it happens on the “who’s online” too. I am going to install a fresh mybb copy and upload theme and add plugins 1 by 1 see what is causing it.

It will be a waste of time installing, it’s nothing to do with the database. You must have something custom as it’s not a core feature.
