Hi new user here and this is the message im getting on my admin account, plus I noticed that my forum members are also getting it.

No one is actually banned and not sure if they are actually affected in any way but Im getting this message across the boards.

Yes Ive seen other forum posts on this, yes I rebuilt all the caches, no it didnt help

Make sure this is unchecked in the ACP for the relevant usergroups:

Users & Groups » Groups » [Click on a group] » General » Yes, this is a banned group

Thanks for the idea, the only group that was a banned group was the Banned group itself, everything else unticked.

OK. Similarly in the ACP, what do you see here:

Users & Groups » Groups » [Click Options to the right of the "Banned" group] » [Select List Users from the dropdown]

I installed this plugin https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=270 and it it informed me that I was banned even though I wasnt on a ban list. Nonetheless problem was solved.
