Gravater Error

The Gravater implementation on this site is throwing the following error, when I enter my email address as requested:

Please correct the following errors before continuing:

• Sorry, but we cannot change your avatar as the new avatar URL specified is too long. You can try to use a shorter URL which is less than 200 characters long.

Of course, I'm not entering a URL, I'm entering an email address as requested; and no, my email address is way less than 200 characters.

Yes indeed i have reported that a long time ago however it was not working since many released versions before, so i think it needs to change at least for gravatar implementation some code changes to make it work again.
