Hi, I’m new to both MyBB and haven’t ever procured services before. Our deployment is figfanatic.com, a small not for profit interest group 

Some of you may already be aware from my posts that we’re missing a specific alert functionality when a member is mentioned.

What we need is for when a member is mentioned in a reply or quick reply via the @membername (or some other means) that the mentioned person receives an email notification in the same way they get an email if they get a private message.

Im not sure if it would be better to make it an enhancement to either the DVZ Mention or MyAlerts plugin or be stand alone plugin.

It should have a way in the user profile to enable or disable email notification for @ mentions.

The code already exists for sending an email when subscribed. So I would think that same code could be used for the @mention trigger.

I would need to need to know this is built in a manner that won’t be affected by MyBB updates.

I’m hoping to get a price to build this functionality
