<> in Html in post

could you share the class_parser.php as it should be? I wouldn't want to do any damage by modifying it myself. Thanks again for your attention

why do you want to post text in brackets anyway? Does it have a specific meaning? I haven't understood the whole discussion since last night.

that of <hi> is an example to make it clearer but my forum deals with a game and assistance of the game itself and yesterday, which never happened, a user reported the wrong code between the brackets and the message was invisible. If it had always been like that, i.e. invisible, I would have got over it but I know for a fact that it wasn't like that before and I have always set html in posts from the start (also for convenience in creating tables in posts etc.).
Then again, I am ignorant on the subject so I rely on you for clarification. If you tell me that it's normal to write anything between <> makes everything invisible I'll put my mind at rest Big Grin

thanks for the explanation Selleck, but there are certainly enough other options besides using characters used by HTML

Regarding validation of standard HTML tags, note that users of this feature may also rely on custom elements: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs...m_elements

In fact, this also happens with a simple <c and then sending the discussion I also get this find bar in the post.

custom elements is not mean you can create in element in html you can override element classes and define new behavior Like HTMLParagraphElement class.
also this created with front-side languages like JAVASCRIPT but , parsing HTML that already we are talking is server-side problem and not effect on custom elements

No Mostafa, you're wrong, as proved by the extract of class_parser I put here.
When allow_html is enabled, a few html tags are escaped for security reasons, but the majority is displayed "as it is", regardless if it's valid tag or not.

And html is not server side, html is just a layout syntaxe for browsers (as css and majority of js)

Please read text correctly.

Anyway I only try to say this is valid bug , and as I said to "SELLECK87" I can fix this for my customers  , I only I just tried to explain it a little better in here to help him he may get free solution in here, but you or members think this is normal It depends on you, you can look at it however you are comfortable, Sorry if part of my post misled you , have nice life ,bye
