1 or 2 years ago, something happened and the main forum page doesn't look right.

However, it's inconsistent based on platform.

For some users, it looks messed up no matter what web browser they use on a PC.

For me:

It looks normal on a Mac in chrome.

It does not look right on a Windows PC in Firefox.  Once I click on the logo in the top left, then it will look correct.

Same thing with Windows and Chrome.

But it looks ok on Android and Firefox.

How can I fix this?  What do I have to do?

I tried clearing the browser cache, and DNS cache, months ago.  Didn't help.

I tested in PC with Firefox and is like this :

If you are sure you have cleared the browser cache and mybb cache , then check with different accounts and share results .

remember if you checking with SSL : https://sacramentokingsforum.net/index.php
Obviously css is not displayed, remember if you installed SSL , you must also enter Board URL in settings with HTTPS

Yes, the screen shot you provided is how it should look.

I get inconsistent results across different devices.  For example, on a Mac in Firefox, it looks normal.

On my Windows in Firefox, it does not.

Ok, I just noticed that on my Windows in Firefox, if I just type in "sacramentokingsforum.net", it tries to use https.

If I manually change it to http, then yes it displays correctly.

How can I check if I have installed SSL?

What should I do?  Should I install SSL, and if so, how?

Or should I tell users to use http?  And make sure their bookmarks use http?

I told you change board URL from http://sacramentokingsforum.net to https://sacramentokingsforum.net
and also add code to force user to see URL with https , you can find require code for apache and NGINX by searching in google
