Edit: Problem solved, lol. The storage space on our webspace was full. After making some space the changing of avatars are possible again. I don't know how the storage space affects using external avatar via URL, but well ...

Hello,

suddenly no one can change their avatar anymore. It doesn't even work via the ACP. Everytime someone wants to set a new avatar, this error message appears:
"The URL you entered for your avatar does not appear to be valid. Please ensure you enter a valid URL"

Our users aren't allowed to upload their avatar on our server (due to copyright reasons). The only way are external avatar via URL. So this is not an upload problem. We tried many upload services like directupload an servimg - nothing worked. Even images that are on our own server don't work and the same error message appears.
This is the first time in our Board that this problem occurs. The only thing, that was changed in the last few days was the installation of the Disposable Email Blocker Plugin (https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?acti...w&pid=1571). I removed the plugin but the problem is still present.

Some technical facts:
MyBB-Version: 1.8.37
allow_url_fopen is on
allow_url_include is off (is this one important? in other support-threads about avatar problems I only read about allow_url_fopen)
.jpg/.png/.gif and other image formats are permitted in the attachement-type settings
and just for completeness
all files and folders have the right CHMOD-settings

I'm at my wits' end. I appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.

Ah, the classic 'out of storage' plot twist—always sneaky! Just kidding. Glad you got it sorted! Smile
