I got this problem in my site after my hosting company's daemon was dead and upgraded to apache 2.2 and i got this error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class databaseEngine in /home/chrian/public_html/forum/inc/db_mysqli.php on line 13

Did you recently install any plugins or make any modifications when this happened?

No. Only the server daemon crashed happened.
