What is the easiest way that all mods from default work on a new theme.
My new theme will not be the default theme. I install before a new theme, but that gave problems with mods, not showing, showing twice.
you turn them off, than install the new theme, and then turn them back on again...

Yeah, but that defeats the purpose...

Check the differences in your templates then insert them into your new templates. It's the manual way. But if you deactivate plugins, I don't think it makes you lose any data. I think it just makes them dormant, I may be wrong so don't take my word for it...
