flash.tato, I think I managed to update your first post plugin to work on the 1.4* versions of MyBB. Do you want to look at it?
Just did the tests. It works perfectly (with my changes - I think it will work on the 1.2* version, also).

A new version of the NewThreadTemplate Module! for MyPlaza is available, just a few bug-fixes to avoid SQL Injection.

it is highly reccomended that you upgrade now.
