Logging out problem

One of my members said this earlier today:

for some reason I cant log out of this forum lol..I press logout and it says i have logged out and then itsends me back to the main page and I am still logged in..anyone know how to sort this?

Now i know there using Internet Explorer, it doesnt happen in Firefox though, is this something to do with IE's cookie setting's or?

Try setting the cookie path to /

After you set your cookie path to / did you clear you cookies (both domain and session)? Otherwise you'll be "trapped" and still wont be able to logout. It also helps to set a domain:

http://www.site.com/forums/

Domain: .site.com
Path: / or /forums/
