I want to update my MyBB to the latest version. I've edited moderation.php but when I go to the template sets to edit showthread_moderatoroptions I can't seem to be able to edit it. I've tried editing other templates but I can't seem to edit any.

Help is appreciated.

In your ACP, go to "Preferences" (menu on the left) and the turn off Codepress. This should allow you to edit the templates.

All you have to do with showthread_moderatoroptions is revert it, by clicking Options on the template listings and then click 'Revert to Default'.

There's no such thing.

Only option in options is Full Edit.

If you don't have that option there, then you're not on 1.4.4.

So the template name, showthread_moderatoroptions, isn't in green??

Edit: How did you go about upgrading?? Upload the changed files or do the 3 text edits?? If you did the text edits, you probably won't have the codepress setting.

I can see the showthread_moderatoroptions code. I just can't edit it.

I did the text edits.

Now there are many other problems. I can't log out and people who want to register tell me that they can't see captcha.

Okay... I've deleted what changes I've made to moderation.php and inc/class_core.php but the problems still exist.

I can just about make out a language file name in that error. Can you give the name of the language error mentioned, and try and upload that file again??

Alright. It was just a language file for a faulty plugin. I've deleted it and everything's fixed.
