On Facepunch Forums (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/) they have a easy ban system that allows moderators to click an icon on each post, specify a reason, and ban the user who made that post for however amount of time they choose.
Image attached Is there anyway to implement that in MyBB?

next time upload this to an attachment, screenshot is way to big, you could ruin the layout

You can already do this by clicking the user's name and clicking Ban in Mod CP. It's literally one extra click.
