Navigation Bar Changing with Login Status
#1
Question
Hi. I'm working on a theme for a client. I have already created two separate navigation bars in HTML: one for members and one for guests. How would I make the member one only show up for members and the guest one only show up for guests?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you just put the html code for the guests in the header_welcomeblock_guest, it's a header nav right?
Coming soon..

No, I mean, like an actual navigation bar. At the top. Like the one this entire site has, except it changes with login/logout status.

Navigation bar?
You mean the welcome block at the top right?
If you were to make another one, then that'd require some CSS editing too.

No, I do not mean the welcome bar. I mean a navigation bar. There's a difference.

Uh, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, but I have a faint idea.
I have a userbar which displays "Top 5 Reasons to Join" for guests and "View Unread Posts" for members.
Is that what you mean by?

Um, kinda like that. It's like a menubar or something. So, help on how to make this happen.

I think there's a PHP Conditional in Template plugin by Zingaburga.
Try searching for it.
It should be simple once you see it.

Why don't you base your menus on the welcomeblocks? and you put whatever you want to be displayed to guests in guest's welcomeblock.... same for members.
