This plugin seems really good but more functionalities would be welcomed Smile I don't know which ones but just take a look at some friendships systems on the net and you'll find out some for sure

I'm glad to hear that my plugin is appreciated and that you want more functionalities, but i couldn't find many ideas on the internet and on others forum software(only vb has a friendship system)...
The most important thing i found is the possibility for users to disallow themselves to partecipate in the friendship system...

I would be really happy if you will suggest what you would like to see Wink

PSConfusedorry for my poor english Big Grin

Since no bug were reported, i'm releasing this plugin as a stable one Smile

if you want more functions please ask them directly, don't say "See this" or "search somewhere",
Thanks Big Grin

@MapoGio: plugin in your forum is myfriends BETA 1, not first stable version.....????
Oh I think, this plugin should import friends from Buddy List, and more, when user add others become their friend, this plugin import automaticaly, too.

Important!!! Import friend AUTOMATICALY!!!!!!!!!!!

Your plugin and Buddy List is two various part! You should merge both!!!!!
And!!!!! The link in Private Message is not clickable

Quote:You can confirm or ignore this request.

Click this link to confirm the friendship request:

http://localhost/r/friends.php?action=co...iend&uid=1

You will be able to delete this friendship whenever you want.

i think it's better having friends and buddies separated,
but if you want, with a fast script you can import buddies into friends Wink

The problem isn't with MyFriends...it's MyBB parser...if you try, you will see that it can't recognise localhost URL like http://localhost/mybb/whatever-you-want
but if you use http://127.0.0.1/mybb/whatever-you-want
mybb recognise it as an URL WinkWink

Yes, there will be the 'Delete link' only once the other member has accepted your friendship request(the link is placed in the same place of the 'add link')Wink

Well not bad so far... but I'd really merge the buddy list with it.

Suggestion to add more functionality:
- Add the buddy list a second time for your friends plugin - with online status and PM link... webmasters can then easily deactivate there old buddy list and use your friend system instead
- Leave message for friends - this would be a great addon - you could leave a message for your friends which is displayed at forum index for the friend. The friend can reply to you to this message or delete it...
Would be easy I think (my poke plugin does that but without a custom message).

Contact me if you have any questions on how you could do that.
Kind regards
