[Release for mybb1.4*]Portal Tab
#11
(2009-06-21, 11:53 AM)Pars Wrote: this is not need plugin
easy method:
Templates & Style > Templates > Header Templates > Header
add this code to right place:

<li><a href="http://XXX/portal.php"><img src="YYY" alt="" title="" />Portal</a></li>

XXX= your site
YYY= picture link

It ain''t that easy for people like jbroger above or my co-admin. For that type of category my plugin is intended Smile

@Babjusi: Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your plugins with the community.

Cheers,
Gene

Thanks Gene, appreciate it your feedback.

but why is there no icon before the link? And will it work with the most of my templates or just with the default template?

I didn't'add an image cos I didn''t know what image to put in there. persons have different tastes and likings, so what could be a nice image for me, it is not for another. But I will update it shortly, as soon as I have some free time.

After you activate the plugin, you must enable it. Did you do that?

And where does one enable it if it doesn't appear anywhere in the ACP ?
I activated it in the "Plugins" section, but *nothing* changed.

You must enable it at the Settings-Portal Tab. For more have a look at the attached screenshots under the first post at this topic or at the plugin''s download link.

The Afresh themes are made differently. I might be able to modify the coding for this plugin, but the tab could also be added by just a modification to the header template.
