How do I limit the number of characters that shows in the news in the portal?

Without code edits this isn't currently possible, sorry.

You can "limit" the characters and if they're exceeded, you have to scroll to see the rest. Like a scrollbar in the portal post. Just some templates changes and you're ready to go.
