Happens on one of my sites too, I put a description but Google shows something else from the page, I don't think it's an issue on your side.

When you search for something, Google tries to come up with a description that contains the terms you searched for. The meta description tag is just additional info; Google does not necessarily actually use it, it only uses it if it can't find anything better on your page for the search terms used. Also, descriptions should be around 150-200 characters, and unique for every page. Yours is probably too short and uninformative to be useful.
