Where to load the Database backup?

Ok i download a database from myBB now where do i upload in order to restore what i had?

You need to import it via phpMyAdmin, ask your host if you're unsure where to find it.

Ok, the database that you downloaded should be a .sql or a .sql.gz file.
Go into the phpMyAdmin for your website, then choose or create the database that you want to restore to.
Click the "Import" tab on the top. Choose the database you downloaded and click "Go"

If you are unsure of where to find phpMyAdmin then contact your host

Do i need to un-extract it? or can i upload the rar file?

I don't think it can extract a .rar so it's probably best to extract it first and upload the extracted file.

Thank you , Im using fatcow .. I made a main database now for some reason i have like 5 more that have added .. is this normal?

My forum is perfectly fine... Im just taking precautions in case i do get hacked.
