I'm wondering if these two are possible:
1. Have guests votes contribute towards the percentages and bars in polls.
2. Make it so that by default, users see the poll results when they open the thread whether they have voted already or not.

It is but that will cause problems for example.

1. Guest votes guest requests new ip and clears his cookies etc. Guest may now vote again(with both votes counting).

And for number 2 isn't there already a button that says view poll results?

Yes there is a button but by default when a viewer reads a thread with a poll that they have not yet voted in, only the poll options are shown. After they vote, if they return to the thread the poll results will be shown. There is a button to show poll results before one has voted but I would like it if by default, when a viewer views a poll they have not yet voted on already, the results are shown. Not only the options.
