I agree. If you made it work, this could be the best shoutbox out there.

I have some suggestions though.

1. add /ban (username)
2. add /kick (username)
3. add /unban (username)
4. add a way to see all users in the shoutbox, possably /users, or a tab like the vB shoutbox.
5. add a small place for a message.

I would be the first on board if you could add all this and make it work.

I'm having a hard time adding responses etc to the bot.
It's quite unlogical to me ^^.
I'm no php expert so that must be it,
I just don't get how the arrays work since i see no similarities with the responses array from the bot and those from the users. so functions_bot is a total blind spot for me.

Hope anyone can help with this though as it can be quite usefull.

( for example, a user asking for help will include " help, find, engine-<name>" and it could redirect it to an appropriate game engine topic for example ).

But that's just my idea.

Last post was over a year ago. I think it's safe to say that this plugin is dead. The author himself hasn't visited MyBB in two years.
