This only works if your portal is portal.php and not renamed to anything else. Just an FYI if you're using index.php like me then you'll need to do a Find & Replace in the plugin from portal.php > index.php

I have this code in the index.php of my site and when we enter in the site it will redirect you to the portal.php file.

I'm getting the following error on my portal page, it goes away once I disable the plugin or delete my last announcement thread:
