I did read the complete thread that you wrote Kujoe!
This ongoing thread will be soon be closed cause the minute MyBB begins charging for any site related functions/features people like myself will proceeded to just walk the other away! Why would anyone pay to MyBB when there are over 1000 FREE forums along with FREE support?
2010-05-01, 03:37 AM
It's not charging for anything other than a forum with stricter rules. So you didn't read the whole thing.

Other than the full paragraph written I summarized it into 1 sentence, I'm not sure many other replies will come out the way i said it but it comes down to the same thing.

How so? The people paying gain nothing. Support and mybb would still be free. There would just be a forum where people who paid could get away from immature discussions.

What does Free Forum and Discussion Board mean to you?
2010-05-01, 03:59 AM
The forum is still free and so is the discussions board. What part of new forum(not a new sub-domain but a forum like the chit-chat forum) with only stricter rules to keep it more professional don't you understand?

Ok, I didn't think I needed to do this but I will try to use as few words as possible as not to confuse anybody.
MyBBoard.net Free Forums = Free. MyBBoard.net Paid Forums = Paid.

You also have to keep in mind that right and wrong, especially when it comes to moderation, is simply a matter of opinion. What may seem wrong to you may be the right thing to do for another. Right now you're assuming that people are going to be banned and threads are going to be closed unjustly. I'm fairly certain there is always a reason behind the moderation of a thread/user. I don't think it's fair to judge the staff's future actions based on a few from the past. It's never good to assume (it makes an lime of you and me ) < j/k

So would you have me simply not judge their future actions at all? Presume I have no clue what will happen whatsoever and ignore what I have seen despite no changes being shown yet? I'm human too, and humans tend to make such judgements based on what they witness and what they have experienced.
