Sorry for the second thread, but another issue has risen up.

It says there are MUCH more posts than there actually are.

But in the forum, it shows the right amount of posts

Any ideas?
Nevermind, close this, I recounted thread and post counts, fixed it.

Is it not possible to run a conditional on the update post counters query to prevent the counter from going into the negatives?

I believe it does. The only recent change made to the counters system was to fix a theoretical race conditions that Zinga described.
