Edit the .forumbuttons class in the theme editor. Just type something like 10px in the font size area and save. If you want to make the actual buttons smaller you should decrease the padding on the same class.

The change to the classic posbit (that makes username wrap onto more than one line) won't be included in the theme. Its not default behaviour of MyBB and I don't think its a good idea.

You can make the change on your forum, though, by editing the Post Bit > postbit_class template thought. Replace the first four lines with this:
