[How To?] Locking Forum and Threads

I have just built a new BB using MyBB and converted from my old PHPbb. Everything was simple and worked first time. Well done MyBB team, an excellent product.

One thing PHP could do was to lock Forum and Threads. I cannot find out how to do this using MyBB. Is it possible? If so, what have I missed?

You can close threads via the moderation options at the bottom of a thread or via the inline moderation on the forum display, and you can close a forum by unticking 'Forum is Open?' in the settings for the forum you want to close.

Ah! terminology. Close / Open = Lock / Unlock.
