A very great big thank you for all the work you have done. It has brought a lot of good to a great many people, myself included. I've had my share of install or upgrade questions in the past, but it almost always comes back to how I did something, and I know I can share this with many others here in just saying "Thank You" for everything you guys have all done especially you Chris. Ditto that. MyBB blows other free alternatives like PunBB and PHPBB2 completely out of the water in both functionality and scalability.

but i still dont know why some people are still installing punbb for example! whereas there is mybb, some of my friends lately installed punbb, i came accross their board today, and i was really astonised of the old system they are using:/

You can't really say why people are installing punbb. I think punbb is good myself. however MyBB is better, but people has diffrent tastes, punbb may be a better choice for them.

PunBB is a nice light forum package for those who don't need all of the functionality bigger boards provide - there, direct from my mouth!
