Not Solved [Performance] Crashed Table
#11
Not Solved
FYI I have threads, sessions, users, and PMs in innodb tables which can be more stable for heavy load sites because it support row level locking. I do not advise innodb if your site is small or inactive.

^Thanks. That's what i need.

Other thing: Can i do something positive if i run the table repair on the 2 tables?

Table repair can't hurt. I always recommend you close your forum to do it.

Ok.

I always close my board if i make a backup or do everything else with the db.

Now i try to upload an older backup on localhost, and check the rows. Toungue
Just That's a hard thing if you have an old computer. Sad

So, the thread table has 37 more rows and the posts 9 more rows than on the forum's statistics.

Maybe those rows are just old, deleted stuff wich are corrupted?

Are you sure you're counting the actual number of rows and not just looking at the last tid/pid?? Because the last tid/pid may not be the same as the number of actual posts/threads there are.

No,
I compare the (recounted) forum statistics with the db in phpmyadmin.
