Forum Announcements issue

Hi,

I wanted to add an Forum Announcement from ACP. Before I added it my thread list looked like this:



After I added an Annoucement the thread list looked like this:



How can I fix this bug? What should I change in the codes?

Also I want to add an Forum Annoucement and put it on the home page like this:

You've probably removed the icons column but not edited right.
In forumdisplay_announcements_announcement find and remove;

<td align="center" class="{$bgcolor}" width="2%">&nbsp;</td>

For announcement, you would need to make a forum and link externally it to the announcement.

How can I do that?

Go to: ACP > Forums and Posts > and add URL of your announcement in Forum Link option field.

Or, if you want multiple announcements to display in your announcements forum, you could simply create a new forum and make every announcement post into it as well as the other forums you want the announcement(s) to display in.
