Use PHP in Templates plugin and wrap the code something like this;
<if $forum['fid'] == "X" then>CODE GOES HERE.</if>

Replace X with forum id where you want it to show.

On the first post, its saying;
Quote:Now all you need to do is to copy images to be used as Custom Forum Icons (relevant to the Forum Name) and upload them to ./images/ficons/ folder.

NOTE: Image's name should be same to the Forum ID. For example if your Forum ID (where these Icons are going to show) is 2 then you'll have to rename the Icon as 2.png and upload it to images/ficons/ folder. Do the same with rest of the Icons.

English is not my first language but I'll try to explain in another way.

Download icons from any free/paid icons website.
Rename the icons with 1.png, 2.png or 3.png where 1,2,3 is the forum id where those icons are associated. For example if you want to associate an icon for General related forum (which has forum id = 3), and you want to use an icons like [Image: cat_5.png] then rename this icon to 3.png and upload it to ./images/ficons/ folder.

Here you've to make sure couple of things;

- .png is the icon's extension. If you're using gif icons then rename to like 3.gif , then you would have to edit {$forum['fid']}.png to {$forum['fid']}.gif aswell.

- To check the forum id, Hover your mouse cursor over the forum's name link (in AdminCP > Forums and Posts > Forums) and see the forum id in status bar.
