Reuest before adding as friend

Hello,
Id just like to ask if there is a plugin for users to accept before adding as friend.
An add request is sent to users before adding as buddy....
I saw one from mybb-plugins,but it is for 1.4 and broke the theme of my friend forum,with errors.
So can there be any tutorial or a plugin???????for this ?????..

Even if there is one, since there's nothing gained by friending someone in MyBB, it isn't very useful. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It could be useful. There is a setting called "Allow Buddy-Only Messaging?" that only allows you to PM someone if they are on your buddy list.

Actually i think it works the other way around you can only recive pms from your buddies else how could you pm a admin unless they are on your buddie list. I've not tried it so i'm not sure how it works.

Thnkx for replies,but for my college forum it is quite useful,for buddy only messaging as said by Mr.Kodaks above.
if i can have a tut,i can manually edit the templates....can any one help?
