Spammers Or Whatever Registering

I'm asking here because it kinda relates to plugins.

Anyway, my forum is very small and yet almost every daay I'm getting many "Spammers" registering, here's a list from just today...

abelconley, agathacra, algernonh, biddydigw, charleypi, davetids, emmaslaugh, emmwinsta, fredhar1, gordoncham, harrywyn, hopefear, israeltunn, lazarushal, lufbra, mildredh, mirandapo, pentroutm, persyhou, ronaldgro, septimusba, sylviagram, williamcog, willypick

They can't post because they now need Admin activation, something I recently started using, but before that the "Spammers" never posted anyway. But my question is would any of the "Spam" plugins stop these folks from being able to register at all, and if so, which one would you recommend using?

Use the default Askimet. But make a new group called Verified Members or something. Now go to Group Promotions and add a promotion from the members group to the verified members group with Equal to or more of 10 posts (Modify as needed). Now tell askmiet in the settings to IGNORE verified members. This will check spam posts for people with below 10 posts excluding staff groups that are also entered in the ignore box. That is all.

That won't stop spammers, that just helps to remove all traces of them.
