[For 1.6] Force Postbit Layout
#1
Forces all your users to use the default postbit style.

Compatible with MyBB 1.4.x and MyBB 1.6.x

DESCRIPTION
This is a really simple plugin that forces all users to use the default postbit layout that the administrator has set in the settings, regardless if the user checked to use the classic post layout or not. It will also disable the checkbox in the UserCP which would normally allow users to switch between classic and horizontal post layout.
This plugin doesn't require any manual template changes or database changes.

If you want to have a different postbit layout for each theme, use this plugin: http://community.mybb.com/thread-93640.html

Very nice, but don't you need to run a SQL query to force existing users to the same postbit style? Smile

No, the plugin will override the user setting with the default setting on the fly. So you can switch between the two styles without having to run any query to change the user preferred layout. Also when you disable this plugin, all users will still have the same setting as before.

You can also have separate settings per theme with this plugin: http://community.mybb.com/thread-93640.html .
If you only have one theme or you want to have the settings to be the same across all themes, you should use the plugin from the first post here.

Nice plugin, it's great to see more people making free plugins, unlike those who start asking for payment for basic and unnecessary plugins. Smile

A new version of this plugin was just added to the mod site. This version fixes a small compatibility issue with the Additional Usergroup Images plugin.
