[For 1.8] Force Username Change

This plugin will add a tick box in the ACP under Moderator Options to force a user to change their username before they can continue to browse the forum and if they try to click away from the prompt forcing the name change they will again be automatically redirected back to the prompt.

This also includes TFLUsername plugin to keep a record of all name changes that have been forced. Also, for example if a user is in the Registered group and they don't have permission to change their name in the Group Settings this plugin will override that setting and still force the name change.

But I have one question is it forcing each all registered user to force username?
If yes, then it will irritate new registered users to change username even they use their proper username.
I think if option of sending message to specific user for change username by mod and admin then it will be more helpful. Sometime members using weird usernames like test, abcdefg, etc....
Please think of it.

This is exactly what it does, it works on a per user basis, not full usergroup.

One nice addition could be to add the check box in the moderator panel as well along a moderator permission setting (I assume it is in the ACP only to limit it to admins only).

As Omar said, this plugin will only force a username change if you manually force a change for that specific user, it wouldn't apply to the whole board.

For example, if someone signs up on your board with an offensive username that you wished for it to be changed, you would be able to enter the ACP and force a change on that user and he can no longer use the board until he has changed his name and a record should be kept with the TFLUsername plugin (included in this release).
