Upgraded a community from 1.4.x to 1.6.3 and all went smooth except I'm missing certain navigation buttons in the admin area.

missing acp login button
missing users "options" button
missing parts of acp header login/log out on header nav

Any ideas?

Make sure your language files are uploaded and CHMODed correctly.

I recommend re-uploading your whole /admin/ directory as well, just in case you missed any other files.

But in this particular case, as pyridine pointed out, you only need to re-upload /inc/languages/english/admin/.
