the login with special characters, but that ha snothing to do anymore with mybb :p
hmm, one more bug.
When I navigate in my browser to the xml file, I get online status
but in my loader it says offline

That's because you're logged into MyBB in your browser (so the session knows you're on a page), however you aren't online in the vb.NET Smile
