For the record, we solved this one by switching off Delayed Thread Views. I also had to re-enable all the active tasks after this.

I had the same problem. Solved it by disabling Invitation plugin I installed. Also, I viewed the task log and saw that the Remember Us plugin was causing an error. So I disabled it too. Views are now counted.

OUGC Announcement Bars causes the same problem on my forum board. It's a weird bug that happens with a variety of plugins based on the forum.
