[How To?] Changing posts

hey guys,

im new to this kinds of things and im learning bit by bit on the the forum

I would like to know how i can change the way me and people post in my forums. For example, right now when they post or I post, It shows my username on the top and below is the "post" content. I would like to change it to my username on the left side and my "post content on the right.

would anyone like to help me out? thx

Go to User CP > Edit Options > Display posts in classic mode.

I've done everything on the tutorial you gave me a link on and it still shows the user details on the top of the post. I wanted it where the use details is on the left side and the post is on the right.

Did you run this query in phpMyAdmin?

UPDATE `mybb_users` SET `classicpostbit` = '1' WHERE `classicpostbit` = '0'
