The theme creators link at the bottom of forum
Posted by: james12 - 2010-08-14, 08:13 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (5)

For the last two months that link opens up to a page where the hosting company says it has expired 2 months earlier and is avaiable to register, so I removed that link, as there are only a bunch of things that the hosting company is selling, is it ok if i removed that link?

Bug Clear Selection Bug?
Posted by: xomp - 2010-08-14, 07:16 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (2)

No idea why,. but I cannot seem to clear this once and for all. It only seems to be an issue with Mods/Admin accounts as standard users don't complain about seeing it.

I have tried Clearing the Selection and everything but cannot seem to stomp this problem out.

I literally migrated from phpbb3 to myBB 1.4 then upgraded to 1.6 a week later (viva migrating a week prior to a major point release Toungue)

Any ideas?

  Follow up on missing table
Posted by: Eric - 2010-08-14, 06:30 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (7)

So, the last thread got closed because I obviously didn't listen to the staff. Toungue

However, after I found out I was pretty screwed a member PMd me and said it might be possible to use the merge system, merge my 1.6 with 1.4 then re-upgrade. Just wondering if this might work.

  URL going to /index.php?
Posted by: jani - 2010-08-14, 12:28 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (9)

Hello,

I just installed mybb for my new forum. Everything is great but if I am opening the forum www.siteurl.com it is OK but from inner pages the homepage link is going to www.siteurl.com/index.php

How can I change it to go to www.siteurl.com and not /index.php?

Thanks for your help.
