You can specify a URL instead of an e-mail address for the contact link. This is not made clear when installing, though. Just enter the URL of the new PM page:

Well, there are a few Contact Us Page Plug-In's that you can use...........
Or you can just download page manager and use this:

I think there is no need to install an extra plugin etc. Giving choices to admins such as "contact email" or "contact page" in ACP settings would be better in 2.0. For example, on this board, when you click "Contact Us" at the footer, it takes you to the page:

I think it is a good idea to use a page instead of mailto. So the members or guests will not have to use an email program or they will not have to enter email account. And if there is such a feature, new admins don't have to seek plugins or change templates for this feature. Why do you advise third party softwares or plugins for this feature? I think 2.0 should present this simple feature for all its administrator users.

^This. A contact page is much better than mailto, and it should be a default feature.
i know that there are many contact us plugins but as firefox has said that when we install plugins we have to modify templates, also all thes plugins are not perfect and may have bugs.
and as i said it would be great if the contact us page sends mails as PMs to the admin, i think there are no plugins does that.
I agree a contact form page should be core.
