What if the poster is not aware of the concept?

Someone give Patente a cookie for making the most ironic necropost in a necroposting-related thread.

If they're not aware, we politely educate them on the standard and carry on. If it's a useless bump, I usually soft delete the post to re-kill the thread, and then PM the necroposter about it so that they can make a new thread if needed.
