Is there a way if like a category has an uneven number of boards we can make that board stretch all the way across instead of staying the same width as the other boards?

What's the best way to do it then.

1.8 is quite different to 1.6 so I'm not surprised.

I updated Omar's code and have it working on 1.8, just gotta do sub forums then touch it up.

I'll post it if Omar allows it as i used his code an modified it.
